I gratefully acknowledge that my work takes place on the Traditional Territory of the Anishinaabe (including Mississaugas of the Credit), Haudenosaunee, and Huron-Wendat.
I am a woman on a mission to build empires for social good across the globe. I launched my first social venture at the age of 19 and haven’t stopped since. In 2007, I started a journey with the launch of my social-purpose business.
What do I do? Coach and train budding innovators in over 40 countries on enlightened risk-taking and the building blocks of venture development. Create and facilitate gap-training for multi-generational and multi-cultural audiences across a variety of industries and occupations. Use cutting-edge facilitation methods to assist groups of 10 to 300 move past road blocks toward innovation in their workplaces and communities. Design and develop self-employment curriculum for organizations to deliver online and in the classroom. Collaborate with other practitioners to support projects with purpose in generating measured impact. Author guides and resources for entrepreneurs to bolster the success of their start-ups.
When I’m not at work or in my community, I like to do normal stuff like indulge in tasty food, fun dance with my two dogs – Khailee and Winnie, travel the globe in search of mountains to climb and experience the world through the eyes of my spirited children – Kalista Isabelle and Alexander Hugo.
